Rylan Strachan is a seasoned professional who has well over 25 character appearances in countless animated series in the last several years. He stars as the series lead in the Studio Trigger hit, Kiznaiver! Strachan also lends his voice to several major characters in Bushiroad's Vanguard G & Buddyfight franchises!

 

Hailing from the frigid lands of Alberta, Canada. Rylan is described by his mom as the most handsome-est boy ever... but also the boy who used to never stop talking from the moment he woke up, till the moment his head hit the pillow at night. Strachan loved the idea of stories from a young age. Obsessed with the idea: that performance would allow you to be/experience all the wonders of imagination, Rylan was drawn into exploring the world of theatre and sketch comedy.

 

Rylan cut his vocal-teeth in 2014 while studying Broadcast Radio at Mount Royal University. It was there, he was thrown behind a mic to perform silly voices for radio ads. Rediscovering his passion for performative storytelling, he helped craft and produce numerous radio personalities such as: Randy and his Movies In The Blink Of An Eye & Love Doctor ThoroughGood. The microphone allowed Strachan to surpass the limitations of physical performance. With this new tool, he could help bring imaginary worlds to life with the human voice and sound design.

 

A surprise university lecture from the mouth of the Canadian Vegeta (Roger Rhodes), changed Rylan's life and opened his eyes to the world of professional storytelling. Strachan has always been addicted to telling stories, but a real-life anime character was the final domino, sending his "throat-noodle" (what he affectionately calls his vocal cords) adventuring into the unknown, in search of the next tale to be told.

When not recording, Rylan continues his love of stories as a film&stage actor and helps others find their voice through visual and audio productions as an experienced audio engineer.
